OUR TEAM

Eleftheria graduated from the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture (SPbGIK) with a master’s degree in choreography. She studied repertoire and technique at the Mariinsky Theater.
She is a certified fascial therapist from the Hellenic College of Somatic-Psycho-Pedagogy (a branch of the École Supérieure de Paris), a Fascial Fitness Trainer, and a certified Pilates instructor.

She has taken courses and seminars in classical dance, Pilates, ideokinesis (Franklin Method), barre à terre, and other physical training techniques in Europe and the United States, where she also worked as a dancer and choreographer.
 

She has been working as a dance instructor since 1995. She served as artistic director of the G. Christoforidis School from 2006 to 2019. Since 2010, she has been actively engaged in tai chi, yoga, improvisational movement, and contact improvisation.

From 2000 to 2003, she was a member of the improvisational theater troupe “Studio Under Zero” and participated in playback theater performances (at the IBI Theater, Technopolis, and elsewhere).

In 2001, she choreographed and danced in the award-winning and acclaimed videodance piece “Frida.”

In 2007, she founded and has since directed Studio Bodytone, where she teaches Pilates and movement techniques.

She is a founding member and a member of the Board of Directors of Ia.Te. (Hellenic Society of Dance Medicine) and a member of the editorial board of the journal *Chorugeia*. She is also a founding member of the Hellenic Pilates Association. Since 2013, she has been a guest teacher at the Conservatory of Dance Shizuoka and the Izonokuni Youth Ballet in Japan.

In 2020, she completed the videodance “Farewell,” based on the performance “H Skala,” which premiered in Athens in May 2019. “Farewell” was featured at numerous international festivals (India, Russia, Spain) and at the Athens Video Dance Project. In 2022, she staged the ideokinetic performance “Red Thread” in Athens, a work that condenses a woman’s life journey within the confines of a single space. 

In April 2021, she co-organized the 3rd International Conference on Dance Education with the Department of Choreography at the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture, with which she continues to collaborate.

In 2025, she organized and participated in the performance “Statistics/15,” a work dedicated to the memory of the 15 women killed by their partners or husbands in 2024, which was presented at Syntagma Square and the Municipal Market of Kypseli.

Ioanna has been dancing continuously since she was 3 years old. In 2004, she graduated from Rallou Manou’s Higher Professional School of Dance.


In 2007, she successfully completed comprehensive training in the Pilates method (550+ hours) at Bodytone with Eleftheria Rizou.


In 2017, she specialized in Fascial Fitness through KENEXE.


She is also a graduate of the Department of Theater Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2005).


She has been working as a ballet teacher since 2004 and as a Pilates instructor since 2008. Since 2015, she has been directing and teaching at her own amateur dance school in Elefsina. She is also an instructor for the Teacher Training programs at Bodytone.​

Augusta began studying classical dance at age 4 and Pilates at age 10 at the Bodytone studio. In 2014, she joined the Young Greek Dancers troupe.

In 2019, she graduated from the “Niki Kontaxaki” Higher Professional
School of Dance, founded by Nikolet Bakali, with a dance instructor diploma from the Ministry of Culture. She has attended seminars in classical and contemporary dance, and creates her own projects while participating in international dance festivals.

She worked as a ballet instructor from 2019 to 2026 at the Movements dance school. Since 2026, she has been collaborating with the Ballet Arts dance school.


In 2021, she successfully completed comprehensive training in the Pilates method (550+ hours) at Bodytone with Eleftheria Rizou, and has been part of their team ever since. 

In 2025, she participated in the performance “Statistics/15,” a work dedicated to the memory of the 15 women killed by their partners or husbands in 2024, which was presented at Syntagma Square and the Municipal Market of Kypseli​.

In 2026, she graduated from the Department of Marketing and Communication at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
